Thursday night (with the help of some friends) I launched the new and improved Startup Weekend website. It now has a central message instead of a Boulder base. I am excited, and already some great reviews and thoughts have perked up. I still need to port the main page into WordPress, but all of the subdomains are hosting it. Every city now has their own blog, eventbrite and motivation to go go go. Very exciting to say the least.
I am very excited to see the interest in the idea. One of the most amazing pieces of organizing is in Germany, where (with the help of Google Translator) over a hundred people have signed up for a weekend. I am thinking about going, who knows.
Is it time for another Boulder Creative Commons? With all this organizing, I feel like writing a post named “it’s the community, stupid.” The community is the core.
