2011 White House Correspondents’ Dinner

The day after the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, is the only day that I say to myself “damn, damn, I wish I had been watching CSPAN last night.”

It is the night when American politics acts like I wish it always did. Fresh humor. Honest humility. Making fun of Donald Trump.

Obama had a great monologue. It feels like campaign mode is here and a fire has been lit. He was amazing:

Seth Meyers then provided a groan worthy performance roasting just about everyone in the room. He killed it.

Pop culture and journalism crush on each other.
