Ending my RTW Trip?

I’m back in San Francisco.

Not really the developing world travel I was expecting to be experiencing right now. I needed a break from the solo travel, and this has been just the ticket. Great friends, amazing food and water I can drink from the tap.

It is the little things.

So now I’m going to go and join up some friends to cook food, share stories, snowboard, Boulder, attend TEDactive, visit family and spend some time in NYC.

Then make the decision to go for another lap or to get back in the startup game.

The trip has been amazing. I read a quote that hit home:

“So often travel elongates the conversation, not broadens it.”

Working on broadening what I am focusing on and what I am learning.

A tough and very personal decision. I’ve been through something similar in my own travels, opting to continue on in one case, and to end early in another. I was lucky in that on both occasions, my gut gave me the answer that still feels right many years later. I think your gut will lead you in the right direction too. Looking forward to hearing which direction you go in.

The AP or PCT sound amazing in all honesty.

It’s not an end. It’s a point on an ellipse.
