SalaamGarage Trip To Vietnam

So the big question to you, should I do this trip?

January 2010 Central Vietnam: January 11-23, 2010
This is the first time a group of American media makers and photographers have been cleared to enter the Quang Tri Province by the Vietnamese government since the war.

More at SalaamGarage.

If I did it, would you kick in a donation to fundraise for the experience?  I will be bringing bringing back 2000-6000 frames plus some HD footage to help tell the story of the people and land.

Send me an email (andrew {at} endoze.com) or leave a comment.  The trip is $5000 so some type of fundraising is in store. Any other ideas?

I’d bring back some kick ass media.

I say you form a group of 25 friends who will donate $200 each. If you like this idea and want to implement it, I'll be the first one standing in line to write you a check.

    How's about Team 25? 🙂

    This trip sounds amazing, Andrew.

    GO FOR IT!

    Kath 🙂

Andrew- how can you not do Vietnam? Historic and impossible to do without SalaamGarage. Vietnam is one of the top 4 worst countries for freedom of the press. N. Korea, China, and Iran compete for the number 1 slot. This is an incredible opportunity to make a huge difference on so many fronts. Look at what you have built. your audience wants to hear about what you care about. another way to change the face of how we do things!
Its about the legacy of war, what america has left in its wake… landmines still litter Quang Tri Provence. people can't farm or grow or even still rebuild there decimated communities for the danger of enexploded ordinance.
But you already know all this…
